課程概述

這門課將協助修課同學以德性為主軸切入，檢視柏拉圖在《高爾奇亞斯》篇中關於政治與道德責任的論述；亦會嘗試處理數個與主題相關的議題，包括西元前五世紀的自然與約定俗成的論辯、德性的統一以及修辭術的目的等。希望透過對於《高爾奇亞斯》的分析、詮釋，輔以柏拉圖其他相關文本論點，架構起柏拉圖對於執政者責任的論述。
